As a Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management, we rely on you to: 

  • Collaborate with various cross-functional teams across the Group to drive the design and implementation of the enterprise risk management (ERM) framework to identify, assess, manage, monitor and report all material risks that the Group is exposed to.
  • Responsible for the overall management and execution of the risk management strategy and activities. Establish, implement and manage all aspects of the risk function, including implementation of processes and systems to identify, assess, measure, manage, monitor and report risk, with an objective of a robust risk management culture.
  • Formulate sound risk policies/ framework appropriate to local country environment/ regulations.
  • Facilitate discussions with business owners to implement enterprise risk management and align their risk tolerance/ appetite to the Group’s corporate governance. Escalate risk issues to Chief Auditor and senior management.
  • Provide constructive challenge and oversight to the identification, measurement, monitoring, controlling, and reporting of enterprise-wide risks faced by the Group. 
  • Collate and compile monthly Key Risk Indicators and Risk Dashboard for various regions. Work with all key stakeholders to update and distribute the monthly ERM dashboards for review and follow-up by the company.

We are looking for someone who has/is: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance/ Business/ Risk Management or related disciplines.
  • At least 12 to 15 years of experience in global organization for enterprise risk management or with a professional services firm. Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Vice President, Enterprise Risk Management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a management role with proven track record of leading and coaching a team of professionals in a large publicly quoted company or a professional services firm. Lodging/ hospitality industry experience would be an added advantage. 
  • Professional qualifications and certification for Enterprise Risk Management are preferred. Experience in Integrated Assurance Framework (IAF) and Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) is an advantage.
  • Excellent spoken and written English; Strong command of Mandarin is essential.
